Thank you

Again, Ron Martinez of Lowe’s Market, collected donations from customers to purchase things to go with a ham dinner for Christmas. And the IC Church and OLOS Church have shared food collections. Over 125 bags were put together for our Comedor customers this past week. Because of some generous donors and friends of Comedor, we were able to purchase enough hams to make a gift for every family that presented at the OLOS Parish Hall this past week. Even for the season of giving, Comedor has been bountifully blessed in the amount of food we have to share with those in need.

Please remember that hunger is an issue year round for much of our community. Also, Comedor has started a home delivery called San Pascual’s Pantry for persons under the age of 60 years and essentially homebound that happens Friday mornings. Usual Comedor Soup Kitchen serving times are Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:30-4:10 PM at the OLOS Parish Hall. Call (505) 617-8471 for more information, or to volunteer for this satisfying work.
