Ricky Cresencio Trujillo Jr.

Ricky Cresencio Trujillo Jr., 31, of Las Vegas, N.M. passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2022 in a motorcycle accident. 

He was born in Las Vegas, N.M., on Saturday, Jan. 19, 1991, to Rick Trujillo and Dawn Sandoval. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Rick Trujillo and Dawn Sandoval; his brother Jonathan Trujillo; and his grandfather Donald Sandoval. 

He is survived by a very special child, Mia Pino; his brothers, Kevin Trujillo (Paige), Dyllan Sandoval, and Donovyn Sandoval; nieces, Penelope Trujillo, and Atianna Trujillo; special aunt/uncle who raised him, Geraldine Trujillo-Romero (Paul); paternal grandparents, Cresencio Trujillo, Helen Trujillo, and maternal grandmother Lorraine Sandoval; cousins who were like his siblings, MariaElena Montanez (Ivan), Estrella Sisneros, Paul Romero Jr., Floyd Romero (Amberlynn); numerous cousins who were like his nephews and nieces; aunts, Lori Trujillo, Kristen Trujillo, and Anita Sandoval; and uncle Donald Sandoval (Karmen). 

Ricky had a passion for always helping others, whether that would be giving his last dollar or shirt off his back. He also had a passion for riding his crotch rocket, playing video games, and making crafts. He would do anything to brighten someone’s day. Ricky was simply one of a kind.

Services will be in both Las Vegas and Albuquerque.

September 24th - Immaculate Conception Church, 811 6th Street, Las Vegas, N.M. 87701 - 9 a.m./Rosary, 9:30 a.m./Mass, with reception to follow

September 30th - Sagebrush Church, (Riverside location - Student Building), 6440 Coors Blvd NW, Albuquerque, N.M. 87120 - 1 p.m./Celebration of Life
