It’s no secret that New Mexico has had a longstanding problem with alcohol.

We are haunted by the countless DWI crashes that have claimed so many innocent lives over the years, including five members of the Collins-Gonzales family who died when their van was hit by wrong-way drunk driver Dana Papst on Interstate 25 in November 2006.
