•The monthly board meeting of the El Creston Mutual Domestic Water Consumers’ Association will be held at 7 p.m., via videoconference. The agenda and video link can be accessed 72 hours before the meeting at www.elcreston.org. The association is a non-profit, government regulated, cooperative utility. Its only functions are water and wastewater. It was formed initially in 2004 and reorganized in 2009 to deal with the loss of over a dozen household wells in the area. •Amor de la Tierra Garden Club will host its annual Fall Bulb Exchange from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at plaza park. Participants can bring and take home seeds, perennials, tree saplings, iris bulbs, ground covers and house plants. The event is free.
•Author Traer Scott will share her photographs and stories of shelter dogs at 6:30 p.m. in the New Mexico Highlands University Student Union at 800 National Ave. The free program is limited to 80 attendees for COVID-19 safety guidelines.
