    Mary Connie Sackett, a resident of Las Vegas passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 19 at Presbyterian Hospice in Albuquerque, N.M.

  • Maria Onofre Gallegos

    Maria Onofre Gallegos, 95, went to meet Our Lord while living at the residence of daughter, Christine and Michael Chavez and family members on Sunday Jan. 16, 2011.

    Maria was a loving, caring, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and friend to many. Maria will be greatly missed.

    Maria was born on March 10, 1915, in Las Ventanas, N.M. to the late Hilario and Juana Sanchez-Martinez.

  • Rev. John W. Ridder

    The Rev. John W. Ridder, 87, died Jan. 16, 2011, at Westminster Village.

    He was born June 17, 1923, in Bayonne, N.J., the son of John E. and Medora Ridder.

  • Flavio Vigil

    Flavio Vigil, born June 6, 1922, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, surrounded by his loving family. Preceding him in death were his wife Alice C. Vigil and his parents Patricio and Eliza Vigil. Grand-daughter Patricia Cruz; grandsons Gillie Sanchez and James Vigil; son-in-law David Cruz; father and mother-in-law Frank and Frutosa Lujan; sisters Antonia Montaño and Consuelo Tafoya; brothers Pat, Cecilio, Frank, and Eluid.

  • Rosabe Lopez Gonzales

    Rosabe Lopez Gonzales, 72, a lifelong resident of Gonzales Ranch, N.M., went home to meet our Lord on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011. She was born on May 11, 1938, in Gonzales Ranch to the late Ferminio Lopez and Anita Lovato. Rosabe was united in marriage to Matias C. Gonzales on December 10, 1962. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother,
    grandmother, great grandmother, godmother, aunt, cousin and friend.

  • Raul R. Roybal

    Raul was embraced by our Lord on Jan. 13, 2011. He was born on Feb. 19, 1985, in Las Vegas.

    Raul was a good and loving son who loved his family very much. He had a special place in his heart for his step-daughter, Emerald and his brother Nash whom he loved dearly. He was taken from us early in life and will be missed by those of us who were touched by him.
    He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Rumaldo Roybal and his cousin Amanda Medina.

  • Daniel Abeyta

    Daniel Abeyta (“Dan the Man”), 73, passed away on Jan. 11, 2011. at his home with his loving wife Beatrice by his side.

    Daniel was born on Aug. 13, 1937, in San Isidro, N.M., to the late Melaquias and Eleanor Abeyta.

  • Kaylin Tru Benavidez

    Our most precious angel was embraced by our Lord on Jan. 10, 2011. Kaylin Tru was born on Aug. 10, 2004.

    She was diagnosed with brain cancer on Sept. 14, 2010. Kaylin Tru showed us how to be strong. She never once cried or complained during her battle with cancer. She is our inspiration.

  • Raquel Marisela Garcia

    Raquel Marisela Garcia, 3, a lifetime resident of Las Vegas, went on to be with our Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

    She was born on Dec. 18, 2007, in Las Vegas to Matthew Montoya and Marisela Garcia.
    Raquel loved her grandpa Pancho and her cousin Justin and she loved animals and her favorite pet was her dog “Shadow.” She also had chickens, rabbits, donkeys and her pony “Lady.”

  • Eddie J. Herrera

    Eddie J. Herrera, 71, of Las Vegas, NM passed away in Albuquerque on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2011.

    Eddie was born on May 23, 1939 in Gascon, N.M., to Celestino Herrera and Isabel Rodarte. He lived in Las Vegas until his illness took him to Albuquerque, allowing him to be closer to his daughter, Edwina.
