• Teresita Isabel Brown

    Teresita Isabel Brown, 74, a longtime resident of Las Vegas, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at Meadows Nursing Home in Las Vegas.

    She was born on Jan. 12, 1938, in San Ramon, N.M., to the late Jose Maria Garcia and Antonia Duran Garcia.

    She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Teresita enjoyed dancing and spending time with family.

    A lifelong Catholic, she attended the Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas.

  • Mary Maes Lucrecio

    Mary Maes Lucrecio, 94, a longtime resident of Las Vegas, currently living in Santa Fe, N.M., passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2012, in Santa Fe.

    She was born on Sept. 1, 1917. She was a lifetime Catholic.

    She was united in marriage to Filiberto Lucrecio. She was preceded in death by her husband: Filiberto Lucrecio and sister: Carlota Armijo; uncle: Roman Maes and wife Saturnia Maes.

  • Rosanna B. Roybal

    Rosanna B. Roybal, 60, a resident of Los Lunas, N.M., passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2012. She was a faithful member of the Los Lunas Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

    Rosanna was known as a caring woman, sending cards to her friends and relatives to let them know she was thinking of them.

    She was also known for making quilts and baby blankets for her friends.

    She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Roybal; mother, Emma Hamilton Roybal; and sisters, Kathy Roybal and Michelle Moore.

    – April 26, 2012
    Our angel, Tonie J. Trujillo, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2012, after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. This beautiful butterfly was surrounded by her loving family as she emerged from her earthly cocoon into eternal life. She was 57-years-old.

    Tonie was born on Oct. 13, 1954 in Cleveland, N.M., to Rosa Romero Martinez and the late Antonio Romero.

  • Eloy Filemon Gonzales

    Eloy Filemon Gonzales Jr., 37, a resident of Santa Fe, N.M., and formerly from Las Vegas, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2012, at Alta Vista Regional Hospital.

    He was preceded in death by his brother: Lloyd Valentine “Tino” Gonzales; maternal great-grandparents: Teresita and Belisandro Benavidez and Isaac and Sophia Gold; two uncles: Michael and Benito Benavidez Jr.; great- uncles: Frank and Steve Gold; paternal great- grandfather: Gene Gonzales Sr.

  • Juan “Dinger” Quintana

    Juan “Dinger” Quintana, 89, a long-time resident of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, April 21, 2012.

    He was born in Pastura, N.M. on June 24, 1922, to the late Marcos and Epifania Quintana.

    He was preceded in death by his children: Catalina, Johnny Anthony, Reynaldo, Danny, Leroy, Robert, and RoseAnn.

  • Mary Tuttle

    Mary Tuttle, 66, succumbed to injuries suffered in a tragic accident near her home in Las Vegas on February 21.

    She is survived by her father: Frank Tuttle, longtime resident of Spencer, Iowa; her twin sister: Marcia Tuttle Ryon (Rich-ard) of North Bend, Wash.; her brothers: John, of Longmont, Colo., Mark (Cathy) Tuttle of Zhubei City, Taiwan, Brad (Chan) Tuttle of Hopkins, Minn., as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

    She was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Parsons Tuttle of Spencer.

  • Joe M. Weathers

    Joe M. Weathers, age 79, a resident of Pueblo, Colo., and formerly of Buena Vista, N.M., went to be with the Lord on April 21, 2012.

    Joe was a longtime resident of both Pueblo and Buena Vista and was always actively involved in his community, participating in the Knights of Columbus, Disabled American Veterans and the VFW. Joe served in the Army and was honorably discharged in 1962. He retired from the C F & I Steel Mill in Pueblo and then returned to New Mexico to pursue his love of farming and ranching. He served as Probate Judge in Mora, N.M. from 1982 through 1984.

  • Frank E. Herrera

    Frank E. Herrera, 65, of San Geronimo, N.M., passed away on April 19, 2012, at Christus St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe, N.M.

    He was born on Dec. 4, 1946, to the late Ramon D. Herrera and Lucia Santillanes-Herrera of San Geronimo, N.M.

    He was employed by the Las Vegas Medical Center as a mechanic for 24 years. He enjoyed outdoors, fishing, camping, hunting and going for wood.

    He was also a veteran.

    Lorenzo Herrera, 67, a resident of Guadalupita, N.M., died on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Vista Care Center in Albuquerque, N.M.
