The Hermit’s Peak Watershed Alliance is working with community partners to create a Gallinas River Park in the heart of Las Vegas. That isn’t the only thing HPWA does. What started as a seed of an idea 10 years ago has grown into a multi-million-dollar project centered on improving water quality and landscape, while also bringing jobs and an infusion of money into recreation-based employment and tourism to Las Vegas and beyond.
