    The Forest Stewards Guild will be facilitating a public meeting for comment on the draft of the 2019 update of Mora County’s Wildfire Protection Plan on Tuesday, July 9 from 6-7 p.m. in the Mora High School Lecture Hall (#10 Ranger Drive, Mora, NM). A draft of the plan will be available for review at forestguild.org/mora-county-cwpp. Please review the draft and bring your comments for discussion at the public meeting.

    Somos Familia Family Institute will host its 2019 Solstice Celebration Open House from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Somos Familia is at 312 Bibb Industrial Drive, directly across from UPS. Light refreshments will be served; a handmade quilt will be raffled. There is no fee for the event, but contributions are always appreciated.
    Somos Familia is a 501(c)(3) that provides behavioral health services to those who have been referred from the courts or support agencies or who have self-referred for services.
