The Amber Alert issued for two missing Las Vegas children was cancelled late Tuesday after the children and their mother were located in Alamosa, Colo.

New Mexico State Police and the Las Vegas Police Department issued an Amber Alert this evening for two children.

Authorities say that at about 3:30 p.m. today, Davina Wilkins took her two children, who are in CYFD custody, without authorization and in violation of a district court order.

The children were removed from Wilkins’ care in May.

“She was conducting a supervised visit with her children when she fled the facility with them,” the Amber Alert states. “Ms. Wilkins is known to abuse drugs, specifically methamphetamine, and when she left the facility she did not have the proper child restraints for the children.”

The missing children are:

• James Wilkins, a 6-month-old with brown eyes and short brown hair. Police say he is about 26 inches long and 14 pounds and was last seen wearing a “one-sie” and a white feeding bib with a rainbow on it.

• Michael Standingbear, an 8-year-old with brown eyes and brown hair. Police say he is about 4-feet, 6-inches tall and weighs about 90 pounds. He was last seen wearing a Broncos cap, black polo shirt and khaki shorts.

Davina Wilkins is 25, about 5-feet, 2-inches tall and weighs about 162 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair.

They were last seen in a late 90s or early 2000s Dodge or Plymouth Minivan, dark grey in color in Las Vegas at about 3:19 p.m.
