The Pendaries Community Center is hosting a series of free Wellness Week events in Pendaries, beginning Monday, June 25. Events include a vegitarian or vegan cooking class, walking meditation, yoga, laughter wellness, Tai Chi and more. Monday-Wednesday, June 18-27

Las Vegas Arts Council’s Gallery 140, located at 140 Bridge St., will exhibit work “Inspired by Nature” by local artists Mary Crow Clevenger, Kathryn Lenihan, and Carol Macomber through June 27. The work includes watercolor, acrylic, and oil paintings, cyanotype prints and photograms, ceramic and mixed sculpture,  mobiles and dreamcatchers. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, from 1 p.m. to 4 pm.

Tuesday, June 26

Mariachi Cardenal of Las Vegas will perform at Isotopes Park in Albuquerque as part of the Albuquerque Isotopes’ promotion highlighting Mariachi music and culture. Performance time begins outside the stadium at 5:35 p.m. Game time is 6:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased through abqisotopes.com; a near sellout is expected.

A free legal fair will be held in Highlands University’s Student Union Building, 800 National Ave., Las Vegas, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Attorneys and paralegals from New Mexico Legal Aid will offer free legal advice to eligible low-income people and families who are facing legal issues involving public benefits, landlord-tenant matters, consumer rights, unemployment benefits, foreclosure, and creditor-debtor matters. Monday-Friday, July 23-27

The Highlands University Foundation presents an art camp from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the gallery in the university’s Kennedy Alumni Hall, 905 University Ave. Drawing supplies and snacks will be provided. Student artwork will be showcased in Kennedy Alumni Hall, with an artists’ reception July 28 from 1­ p.m. to 3 p.m. Space for the art camp is limited to 25 and those who preregister will be given priority. The Cleveland Roller Mill Museum‘s summer season 2018 hours are 10 a.m. 3 p.m.,on weekends, Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day Weekend. The Museum is located two miles NW of Mora, New Mexico just off highway 518, mile marker 31.5. Watch for the roadside sign. Tierra Encantada Farmers Market is located on the southwest corner of Hot Springs Boulevard and Mills Avenue every Wednesday and Saturday from 8 a.m. until items are sold out. Produce, flowers and plants, fresh eggs, grass-fed beef and creative crafts with a sense of humor are all usually available.
