On Tuesday, Dec. 7, the Mora High School business department will be hosting the regional Professional Business Association meet.
Pauline Limbaugh, a teacher, states that there will be five schools coming to  Mora to compete. They are Escalante, Española Raton, West Las Vegas and Taos.

More than 100 students will be competing. Some of the students will do their competition at their own school and 30 will make the trip to Mora to compete in their category.

There will be a lot of community involvement as the judges will be from different organizations. Those who will be judging are the Bank of Mora, La Jicarita Rural Telephone Cooperative, Mora-San Miguel Electric Co-op, two school board members, and class advisers.

Mora has 25 BPA members competing from the high school and five members from Mora Middle School.

This is truly a community-supported event.
