Luna Community College

Having one of the best offensive outputs in the history of the program, the Luna Community College softball team took three of four games at home from Frank Phillips College over the last weekend of March.

The Lady Rough Riders won 29-4, 7-2, and 5-0 and lost 9-8.

“We ended up with 25 hits; everyone on that day was producing,” said LCC interim head coach Nathan Trujillo of his team’s 29-run game.

Luna’s Keri Mays went 5 for 5 with three home runs and 10 RBI in the 29-run game.
