Albuquerque Isotopes and Optic staff reports

The Memphis Redbirds (25-15) loaded the bases with one out in the ninth, but the Isotopes (21-18) were able to hang on and secure a 4-3 win on Wednesday night. The victory for Albuquerque marked the team’s third win in the last four games.

In his second appearance with the club, Isotopes starter Thad Weber earned his first win of the season. The right-hander allowed just two runs to the Redbirds potent offense, striking out six and walking one during his five innings on the mound.
