Cowgirl soccer picked 12th in RMAC

The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference released its preseason coaches poll and awards Wednesday, and New Mexico Highlands was voted to finish 12th in the 14-team conference.

The Cowgirls are coming off a 3-11-2 campaign in 2017, including 3-8-1 in RMAC play. NMHU returns 12 players off of last season’s roster, including goalkeeper Briana Ruelas, second-leading scorer Breanna Fatten (four goals) and five seniors (Larissa Romero, Alondra Gilda-Ceballos, Tania Salcedo, Anna Medina and Alyssa Palmer).
