  • Lady Cards 4th in state softball...

Two losses to Hope Christian doomed the Robertson Lady Cardinals in their quest for a state softball championship this past week in Rio Rancho.

But they came tantalizingly close to the championship round, and that has them already looking forward to next season.

Robertson made a deep run that ended in the playback bracket of the Class 3A state tournament; a 10-3 loss to Hope eliminated the Lady Cardinals on Friday afternoon.
