In the match marking Ray Parks’ comeback to coaching as well as the very first “for real” competition of the fall sports season in the Meadow City, the Clovis Wildcats stole the show in a 2-0 final on Wednesday at RHS Field.
Through the well-played first half, neither side could break through, although there were chances. At halftime, it was 0-0.
Robertson’s goalkeeper Lorenzo Marquez, kept busy all afternoon, fared very well, nimbly covering the penalty area and turning away repeated attacks by the Wildcats.
