  • WLV, Taos to square off for title

West Las Vegas got so far in front of Raton in such a short time on Wednesday night, it was like the Dons were speedskating on an ice track in Sochi rather than simply trotting up and down the hardwood of Gillie Lopez Gym.

The Dons (16-6 overall, 6-0 District 2-3A) scored the first 16 points of the evening and retained a double-digit advantage the rest of the way in an 86-31 romp.
