I need help from the community. For the last 10 years, I have been dealing with several health issues. In 1998, I was diagnosed with end-stage kidney disease. By August 2001, I was on dialysis. That same year, I enrolled at Highlands University to obtain my bachelor’s degree in communications and marketing. In those years while working on my degree, I was faced with several hospitalization and medical procedures that involved, at times, a week or more in the hospital. In May 2003, I graduated with my bachelor’s and started working on my master’s degree.
