THUMBS UP! GOOD BENEFITS. Two noteworthy fundraisers are this week, and we hope the turnout for each is at least at strong as in previous years.

First, there’s the fifth annual benefit dinner, dance and auction for Ride To Pride, with proceeds going to help the program continue its work to help “kids be kids.” That starts at 6 p.m. Friday at the Night Owl.
