Koch reported in the firm’s annual report now being mailed to 22,648 shareowners. Of this number, 17,834 were in New Mexico and 5,223 here, L.G,. Eubanks, local manager for the company said.

    The speakers will present topics as varied as the International Criminal Court, the spread of Ebola, the Birmingham Civil Rights Movement in the age of Obama and other issues relevant to the study of Africana. This event will take place in Kluge auditorium on the UWC-USA campus and is free and open to the public.

  • Monday, Feb. 14, 1966 — City police are investigating a case of rape reported by a 25-year-old Las Vegas woman and are also seeking to learn where a man, arrested for drunken driving obtained the 63 “sleeping pills” (seconal sodium) found in hi8s automobile. The man became unconscious after being arrested and was taken to a local hospital where he remains. A physician and two druggists identified the pills. The physician said that if as many as 15 were taken, death would most likely follow
