The Albuquerque Isotopes led 3-0 through the first two innings and held on for a 4-3 decision Monday night against visiting Memphis.
The victory brought a successful end to Albuquerque’s homestand. The Isotopes’ win streak reached five, and they’ve won seven of 10.
Albuquerque is 39-32 as of Tuesday morning, a mere half-game out of first place in the Pacific Coast League American Southern Division. Round Rock (40-32) is in first.
Memphis slipped to 35-37, still leading the PCL American Northern by one game over the Iowa Cubs (33-37).
