The Las Vegas City Schools Board will be asking voters to approve an $11 million general obligation bond and a $2 million mill levy during the upcoming Feb. 7 school board elections. Voters will also be electing two school board members.
The board seats on the ballot are currently held by board chairman Leroy Lujan and by two-term board member Gabriel Lucero. Both seats are for four-year terms that begin on March 1.
Lujan, who has served on the board since August 2014, is seeking re-election.
