$20M more for Bradner

The city of Las Vegas has secured another $20 million in funding for its Bradner enlargement project, bringing that water project another step closer to reality.

“We received New Mexico Finance Authority Board approval for $20 million for the project,” city Utilities Director Ken Garcia said Friday. “Roughly $3 million of that is a grant and $17 million a low interest loan.”

The funding comes from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund program.
