Luna tuition won’t go up

The Luna Community College Board of Trustees signed off on a $22.7 million budget last week that spares students any increase in tuition but also fails to provide across-the-board pay raises for school employees.

Donna Flores-Medina, Luna’s vice president for finance and administration, presented the budget during a special trustees meeting last Tuesday.

“No tuition increase was built into this budget,” she said. “... Salaries are remaining flat.”
