Suzanne Aguilar called 911 at about 7:26 a.m. Friday and told the dispatcher that she had stabbed her husband.
When police arrived at the home on the 1400 block of Salazar Street, they found Michael Martinez lying on a bed and could see that he had been stabbed. He wasn’t breathing, and his body was cold. Officers tried to revive him but were unsuccessful.
Those are among the scant details contained in court documents filed in San Miguel County Magistrate Court on Monday charging Aguilar, 45, with an open count of murder and tampering with evidence.
