Some time Saturday evening, Linda Esquibel will finally be able to rest.
The West Las Vegas senior hasn’t had much opportunity to do that over the last four years or so. In the fall, she’s played volleyball and run cross country. In the winter, she’s been a key starter for a strong girls’ basketball team. And in the spring, it’s track and field and a host of events that showcase her athletic versatility — jumps, hurdles, mid-distance runs, relays.
Oh, and she’s a member of a state championship choir, too.
