Juliana Guerin captured the Class 1A-3A girls’ state singles tennis championship earlier this month, reclaiming the title she first won as an eighth-grader in 2010.
The Robertson sophomore shared her thoughts with the Optic in a recent interview that follows in its entirety.
In what ways have you developed as a player over the last couple years?
One of my biggest weaknesses has always been my mental strength. Almost all my losses have come from me beating myself without my opponents having to do much work.
