    Free Thanksgiving Dinner

    Take advantage of a free Thanksgiving dinner from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thanksgiving Day at El Sombrero Restaurant, 825 Mills Ave. Helen Rivera and her family have been providing the meal for more than a decade as a way to give back to the community.

  • Top NM official ‘shocked’ after running over body

    SANTA FE — A high-ranking New Mexico official and several other motorists unknowingly drove over the body of a man who had been struck moments earlier on a pitch-black highway, shocking drivers who didn’t find out until later that they had run over a person.

    Police said Friday they’re unsure of how many vehicles struck the 46-year-old man’s body on the four-lane highway near Santa Fe, but one of them was driven by New Mexico Secretary of State Dianna Duran.
