Highlands University’s faculty and the administration may have found some common ground.
President Jim Fries said this week that he and the faculty completed their bargaining process last Thursday. He said the Faculty Association will be voting on a proposed agreement this week.
He wouldn’t reveal any of the terms of the proposed contract. Faculty leaders couldn’t be reached for comment.
The university’s Board of Regents is expected to take up the agreement in a special meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday at Highlands’ Kennedy Hall.
