Josephine Garcia is still trying to maintain hope that her daughter is alive, but it’s becoming harder as each day passes with no news about her.
“It’s already going to be a month,” Garcia said. “I don’t know; I can’t say. I’m hoping she’s alive, but I don’t know.”
Monday will mark the one month anniversary of Cindy Rivera, 19, going missing from her mother’s home on Peggy Lee Lane. The last time Garcia spoke to her daughter was when Rivera called her on the evening of June 29.
Garcia said Rivera’s ex-husband showed up at the house, and he was drunk.
