MORA — The agency that provides ambulance service here is asking for Mora County’s help to reduce a $447,000 deficit, saying it can’t continue to operate with the continual losses.
Mora Valley Community Health Services Director Jay Ruybalid and the staff of the MVCHS went before county commissioners last week.
Ruybalid told commissioners they could not continue operating with a continual loss. Agency officials said the deficit has built up over the last nine years.
