  • Joseph T. Sanchez

    The Mass of Christian Burial for Joseph T. Sanchez, 69, a resident of Las Vegas and who passed away on Friday, was celebrated today at noon from Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Father C. John Brasher celebrated the Mass. Cremation followed the services and the interment will be at a later date in the San Jose Cemetery. Serving as casket bearers were Pablo Sanchez, Paul Sanchez, Kelly Beltran, Marcus Sanchez, Victor Ortiz, and Donald Sanchez.

  • Jerry J. Xavier Quintana

    Jerry J. Xavier Quintana, age 26, lifetime resident of Pecos, N.M. passed away on Saturday Nov. 17, 2007 following a sudden unexpected illness.

    He was born in Las Vegas, N.M., on Oct.25, 1981, to Louie B. Quintana and Lupita Rodriguez Quintana.

  • Theresa C. Marquez

    Theresa C. Marquez, age 71, a longtime resident of Las Vegas, passed away on Wednesday Nov. 14, 2007 at her home following an extended illness.

    She was born in Loma Parda, “ on May 2, 1936 to the late Eloy Conway, Sr.and Ageda Paiz Conway.

    She was united in marriage at Las Vegas, “ on Sept. 1, 1952 to the late Faustin Marquez.

    She was very known for her famous tortillas and homemade jerky. She loved to cook, play cards and games.

  • Jose Abenicio (Abe) Martinez

    Jose Abenicio (Abe) Martinez, a resident of Roy, N.M. since 1984, passed away Nov. 14, 2007, following an extended illness.

    Jose was born in Mosquero, N.M. on January 21, 1944. He is preceded by his father Conrado Martinez, who passed away June 7, 1993.

  • Joseph T. Sanchez

    Joseph T. Sanchez, 69, a resident of Las Vegas, passed away Friday evening surrounded by his family following an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his wife, Amelia Sanchez; his parents, Jose T. and Antonio Dominguez Sanchez; a brother, Albert Dominguez; his in-laws, Juan and Abelina Beltran; and a nephew, Rudy Conway.

  • Julian Flores

    A funeral mass for Julian Flores was celebrated on Saturday morning from San Miguel del Vado Catholic Church. He was laid to rest following the mass at the San Juan Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Julian Flores, Estevan Flores, Ramon Alarcon, James Gonzales, Henry Flores, Leo Garcia, Fernando Flores, Lalo Alarcon and Cirpriano Flores.

    Julian Flores age 69, born August 17, 1938, passed away on Nov. 13, 2007 on Rowe Mesa while enjoying one of his favorite pastimes, wood cutting.

  • Danny William 'Dalton' Lovato

    Danny William “Dalton” Lovato, age 45, a lifetime resident of Las Vegas, N.M., suddenly passed away on Tuesday November 13, 2007.

    He was born in Las Vegas, N.M. to Andy and Marcia Martinez-Lovato on July 7, 1962.

    He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

    He was preceded in death by his father: Andelecio Lovato; niece: Lee Ann Martinez.

    Danny will be greatly missed by his family and everyone who knew him.

    The mass of resurrection for Paul T. Silva, age 31, a resident of Las Vegas, N.M., was celebrated this morning at 9 am at the Immaculate Conception Church with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant. Interment followed at the Family Cemetery in Manuelitas, N.M., with the following serving as casket bearers: Brian Romero, Manuel Jauregui, James Martinez, Antonio Romero, Matt Jansen, Armando Herras, Fernando Herras, Wally Diaz.

    Danny William “Dalton” Lovato, age 45, a lifetime resident of Las Vegas, N.M., suddenly passed away on Tuesday Nov. 13, 2007.
