Topes skid hits five games

With Monday night’s 6-0 defeat at Fresno, the Albuquerque Isotopes saw their most recent losing streak reach five games.

The Isotopes, who dropped the last two contests in last week’s home series with the Salt Lake Bees, 9-6 and 9-8, opened a short road set in Fresno by losing 9-7 and 9-1 on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

The skid ties the second-longest of the season for Albuquerque; the longest was an eight-game slide to end the month of April.
