Cost is $60 per child (age 4-12) and covers basic uniform except cleats and shinguards, insurance and other costs like officials. Sign-up is available online via www.lasvegasyouthsoccer.org. Alternately, individuals may sign up at Desertgate Internet on Bridge Street. Parents may register their children the first week of August, but a late fee will be applied, and placement with previous team is not guaranteed. The one-time fee includes play in both fall and spring seasons, 10 weeks apiece. Formation of teams will take place in mid-August, with practice beginning later in the month. First games of fall season are set for Sept. 10-11. The league is run by volunteers, and volunteer help is welcome to fill positions of coaches, referees, field management personnel, etc.
