Las Vegas’ latest celebrity, Oso, the bear that took up residence in Lincoln Park this week, sticks his tongue out at gawkers gathered below. The bear was removed from the park Thursday morning.
Surprise guest moves on

Oso, the brown bear that took up residence atop a towering evergreen in Lincoln Park earlier this week, has moved on.

The male bear lumbered down the tree on its own at about 4:15 a.m. on Thursday. But the story doesn’t end there.

City crews, eager to haul away the barricades that had been set up to keep people away, spooked the bear, causing him to run back up the same tree, state Game & Fish spokesman Clint Henson said.
