And then there was one.

After a three-week delay, New Mexico Highlands University regents voted unanimously on Monday to hire Sam Minner as the school’s next president, selecting him from a pool of six finalists.

The university had not yet released a copy of Minner’s contract as of press time, but Regents Chairman Leveo Sanchez said the new president had been given a five year contract and that he would be paid the same salary as former President Jim Fries, which was about $232,000 a year.
