The donated reward to Crime Stoppers seeks information that leads to the identity and conviction of the person(s) who committed arson at the school.   • Watrous was booming on Saturday for Watrous Day at the village park. Several  hundred attended the celebration which included a free barbecue of beans, meat, and bread served around noon, along with music by Quemoso, and a horseshoe tournament.

    The event was started several years ago by a group of people including Johnny Duran, Richard Garcia, Nappy Duran. On Saturday, the attendees ranged from 88-year-old Jose Lopez to Kendan Coca, 10 months.
