    Hermit’s Peak Watershed Alliance presentation of “Living with Beavers,” a demonstration of flow device installation. Presentations will take place at Trout Springs Ranch in Gallinas. Trout Springs Ranch, Gallinas Canyon. Meet past the 10 mile post on NM 65 (the Gallinas Canyon road) for an escorted tour. Other: Wear walking shoes for a short hike to the site.   • Whenever I get a chance, and when the weather is bearable, I spend a lot of time outdoors. This mountain ranch is so full of places to explore, of both ancient and recent history and of changing biology, which includes weather patterns. I wonder what I will discover next.

    Fortunately our library includes the Field Guide Series by Roger Tory Peterson and these wonderful resource books are dog-eared, well worn treasures that have answered so many of our questions about what we see, hear and even smell here.
