Mora Elementary Student Government sponsored a “Dig in your Pocket” drive to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
The students from elementary, middle school and high school did dig in their pockets to raise the amount of $401.19 to help those who are suffering as a result of Hurricane Sandy on the East Coast.
The Mora Student Government students presented the check to Joan Maestas, the local American Red Cross volunteer recently.
Maestas informed the group that the local chapter of the Red Cross is in desperate need of volunteers.
