He is a native Las Vegas, a graduate of Robertson High School, a career naval officer and a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Phillips, Los Alamogordos Road.

    Highlands University presents the first Town and Gown Photography Show through May 27 in Kennedy Alumni Hall at 905 University Ave.

    The exhibit features the work of the university’s Media Arts and Technology Department students and faculty as well as the Meadow City Camera Club.
