    Catholic Daughters of Immaculate Conception Parish (Court Empress of the Americas #1796) have joined Catholic Daughter Courts throughout the nation in sponsoring the 2017 National Education Contest. The contest is open to Catholic and non-Catholic students in grades four through 12 as well as adult Catholic Daughters.

    Themes for the contest are “Whatever you do for the least of my breathen, you do for me,” and “Helping the needy where I live.”

  • Submitted to the Optic

    The Cultural Properties Review Committee and the New Mexico Historic Preservation Division are accepting nominations of outstanding preservation work for awards that will be presented in May as part of National Heritage Preservation Month.

    HPD and the New Mexico Heritage Preservation Alliance also are seeking events to post in the Calendar of Events, which lists dozens of community preservation events held in May statewide.
