    PNM will host an assistance fair to help Las Vegas area residents in need to pay their electric bills and get helpful money saving information from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 3, at the Salvation Army in Las Vegas.     The Highlands University Madrigal Choir presents a concert, Music Here and Now in Ilfeld Auditorium, 900 University Ave. Some of the musical selections include Ron Strauss’ Adon Olam, and Bob Chilcott’s compositions Jazz Song of Innocence and Ophelia, Caliban and Miranda. Ticket prices are $5. Highlands University students with valid IDs are free along with other students with IDs.

  • I was surprised to find this ad in an old box of old papers, stashed away in one of our log cabins that is about to be moved. I graduated from High-lands Univer sity in 1954 and I agree with the text of today, 60 years later.

    The New Mexico Stockman is the major publication issues to and for ranchers like us here in Mora County. Highlands attracted rural students from all over the state back then and it still does.
