    The Meadow City Music Fest will take place in the Plaza Park area. The several day event started on Wednesday and lasts through Sunday. Sunday’s events include a Hermit’s Peak Hike, a Gallinas Canyon Bike Ride, the Las Vegas Arts Studio Tour, and a McAllister Lake Nature Walk. All events are free.     The 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War will be commemorated at a special ceremony at Veterans Park, located across from the Gene Torres Golf Course at the intersection of Mills Ave. and Fourth St. All Vietnam War-era veterans attending the ceremony will be presented with a certificate of appreciation for their service during the war, and a special 50th Anniversary Commemorative Pin.
