    The 13th Annual Little Miss and Miss Pre-Teen Las Vegas Pageant was held earlier this month at West Las Vegas High School.  

    Six talented little girls competed for the titles in four phases of competition: talent, holiday wear, party wear and on-stage question.

  • A little bit of Mora and San Miguel counties is in the metro area of Albuquerque this holiday season. For numerous years,

    Ted Roybal and his family have been selling freshly cut white fir and piñon trees from the Mora and Pecos mountains to residents of the Albuquerque and Rio Rancho area.

    “I have been doing it for years,” Roybal, a resident of Rainsville, said in a telephone interview Thursday. “I was born into the business and have been doing it all my life.”
