    Three Mora School board members were sworn in to office by District Judge and Mora county native Abigail Aragon during a special board meeting on Tuesday, March 3. Two of the members are newly elected members Tranquilino Hurtado and Dennis Romero. The third board member is George Trujillo, who was re-elected in the February school election. Trujillo has served as board member for a total of 20 years.

  • I looked forward to the recent senior profile column by Lupita Gonzales, a great story about our friends and neighbors, George and Joanne Sprenger. I met George and Joanne in the summer of 1975, right after they had come to Las Vegas. And, I had another story about them.

    Our Gascon Ranch sits at the end of the Gascon-Rociada Valley.
