  • Blowy, snowy, cold winter weather — combined with Christmas catalogs in our mailbox — causes me to wonder where summer went. Ah, yes, time flies when the holidays pile up, one right after another.

  • On Tuesday, Dec. 7, the Mora High School business department will be hosting the regional Professional Business Association meet.
    Pauline Limbaugh, a teacher, states that there will be five schools coming to  Mora to compete. They are Escalante, Española Raton, West Las Vegas and Taos.


    More than 100 students will be competing. Some of the students will do their competition at their own school and 30 will make the trip to Mora to compete in their category.
