  • Elected officials of Mora County were sworn into office at 5 p.m. on December 30 at the VFW Post 1131. The Honorable  Abigail Aragon, district judge, administered the oath of office to the officials.

    There were more than120 citizens of Mora County who attended the event and supported the swearing in of the elected officials of Mora County.

  • Somehow one thing just leads to another around this old ranch and the many stories that go with it. I happened to be at the neighbor's ranch just up our road this week, and as I leaned on the corral fence post yet another time I remembered some of the old and fun times we have had with out neighbors.

    • SynergyFest Planning Committee  meeting at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 5, at Traveler’s Café in Tapetes de Lana Weaving Center on the Plaza.The 8th annual SynergyFest will be held April 30th. SynergyFest celebrates the potential of a sustainable future for the community surrounding Las Vegas, New Mexico.
