  • I wasn’t sure whether I had lost my wits or just gone to the dogs recently when I decided to walk a mile for a scholarship in John Harrington’s name. Our beautiful, very successful Mora Tree Research center was just renamed the John T. Harrington Forestry Research Center in his memory, and part of the festivities included a 10K run and a one-mile dog friendly run/walk.

    The flier said, “Join us to celebrate John, his passion for running, the mountains, and his dogs.”
