  • Members of the St. Gertrude’s Parish and missions of Mora Valley held their 155th annual función on Sunday honoring St. Gertrude the Great.

Many folks enjoyed the food, games and fellowship of the day.

The day began with a mass at 10 a.m. followed by a procession from the church to the Mora Elementary gymnasium. All of the mission churches followed carrying statues of their patron saints. The saints were then placed in the gym for all to see. After Father James Sanchez offered the prayer and some prayed the rosary dinner was served.
