The lessons will run Monday thru Thursday, at 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. at a cost of $30 for eight lessons. Registration will take place this Monday, July 13 before each session.     • Friends of Las Vegas National Wildlife Refuge will have a “garden party” from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24 at the Refuge Visitor Center’s pollinator garden. Bring gloves, hand tools, a small stool or pad to sit on. Volunteers will remove aggressive, invasive, exotic species to give the native plants a chance to take over.
