Submitted to the Optic

The Ray Drew Gallery at New Mexico Highlands University will present Return of the Corn Mothers, a photographic exhibition featuring the stories and portraits of multi-generational and multi-cultural women of the Southwest.

This exhibition is on loan from Metropolitan State College of Denver, Department of Chicana/o Studies Journey Through Our Heritage program.
The traveling exhibition is a 2007 Rocky Mountain Women’s Institute award winner and a 2009 Colorado Endowment for the Humanities award recipient.
